Gatwick North Terminal lounges explained

North Terminal has five lounges — more choice than most people expect, and they are genuinely different rooms. Here’s what separates them, grouped by what you actually want from the visit.

Clubrooms — the premium pick

No1’s top tier: hosted table service and an à la carte menu rather than a buffet. Which?’s 2025 undercover testing rated Clubrooms among the best lounges in Britain. No guests under 12, which is a large part of why it stays calm. From around £48. See the No1 Lounges review.

No1 Lounge — the middle ground

Freshly prepared hot dishes, a tended bar and a capacity cap so the room doesn’t overfill. Children from 2 are welcome. Takes Priority Pass and DragonPass.

My Lounge — the relaxed, self-service one

Also run by No1, but the casual brand: pour your own pint, mix your own cocktail, and a games room with video games and table football. The loosest dress code in the No1 stable. It’s the former easyJet Gateway lounge. Our full My Lounge guide →

Plaza Premium Lounge and Plaza Express

Plaza Premium Group runs two rooms at North. Plaza Express is the cheapest verified entry at Gatwick, from around £36, and advertises a kids’ zone. Plaza Premium Lounge is the fuller version, and also advertises a kids’ zone. See the Plaza Premium review.

How to actually decide

  • Cheapest: Plaza Express.
  • Travelling with children: My Lounge for the games room, or either Plaza room for a kids’ zone. Never Clubrooms.
  • A proper meal and some quiet: Clubrooms if it’s adults only, No1 Lounge if not.
  • Priority Pass: No1, My Lounge, Plaza Premium, and Clubrooms for an extra fee.
  • DragonPass: confirmed at No1 Lounge; we haven’t been able to confirm it at the others.
  • Late departure: My Lounge closes at 20:00 — check the others’ hours for an evening flight.
